What we did in 2021/22.

Healthwatch North Tyneside has published two reports about pharmacy services in North Tyneside. Firstly, we were asked by North Tyneside’s Health and Wellbeing Board to gather evidence of experiences of pharmacy services to inform the review of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. Secondly, we have produced our own report based on what people have told us about pharmacy services over the last two years and made recommendations on how to improve services.

This report provides a summary of what people have told us over the last six months, and the key findings from our recent engagement activities about dentistry, pharmacy and young carers. The report has been shared with North Tyneside’s Health and Wellbeing Board.

Our plans for 2022-25

Our new strategic plan sets our our plans and priorities for the next three years. It lays out our five key themes including providing information, focusing on key issues, understanding people’s views and experiences, influencing, and being a robust organisation.
