Pharmacy services in North Tyneside
Healthwatch North Tyneside has published two reports about pharmacy services in North Tyneside. Firstly, we were asked by North Tyneside’s Health and Wellbeing Board to gather evidence of experiences of pharmacy services to inform the review of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. Secondly, we have produced our own report based on what people have told us about pharmacy services over the last two years and made recommendations on how to improve services.
People’s experiences of pharmaceutical services in North Tyneside, 2017
North Tyneside Health and Wellbeing Board is required by law to publish a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). When writing or updating the PNA they must consult with local Healthwatch on pharmacy needs in the borough. We asked local people about their experience of using local pharmacy services so that we could put your voices at the centre of discussions on local pharmacy need.
