Healthwatch North Tyneside is your local health and social care champion. We make sure NHS leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care.

We look at the issues you raise to assess the impact of the issue on the residents of North Tyneside. In many instances we can get a quick response to the issues raised and, if you have left your contact details, we will let you know the outcome of our enquiries. Some issues are already being looked at by other organisations and we pass your comments and concerns on to them rather than duplicating their work.

There are some issues that we look into in more detail and set aside time and resources to investigate further and put together recommendations for change. We will tell you about these issues, what we are doing and the outcome of our work.
