In December 2017 we awarded our Local Voices Fund to Barnardo’s The BASE to understand how to best communicate with ‘seldom heard’ young people about their health needs and wellbeing.

Our Healthwatch North Tyneside research grant is available for charity and community groups, based in North Tyneside, to explore local people’s views of health and social care.

Research Questions:

  • What are the most effective ways for health care commissioners and service providers to communicate with ‘seldom heard’ young people?
  • What do young people see as their own health priorities?
