During 2024-25 projects included What Matters to Young Carers, Hospital to Home, Dental Access, Listening to Women’s Health Needs, Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, Emergency Department at NSECH and visiting all 30 borough care homes.

Highlights of the year included:

  • 4,085 people shared their views and experiences of health and care services with us.
  • 3,066 people engaged with us at 106 community outreach events across North Tyneside.
  • 827 people shared 4,388 service experiences in our annual survey in 2024/5.

Specific projects saw:

  • 970 residents of North Tyneside sharing their views on making the borough an Age Friendly Community.
  • 843 residents telling us about their views and experiences with pharmacy services.
  • 83 young carers talking about their experiences through our What Matters to Young Carers survey and engagement activities.

“We deeply appreciate everyone’s passion and willingness to work with us to hear the voices of service users and carers.
