NHS continuing healthcare funding

We want to hear your views and experiences of NHS continuing healthcare funding for people with long-term complex health needs.

Some people with long-term complex health needs qualify for free health and social care arranged and funded solely by the NHS. This is known as NHS continuing healthcare. This care can be provided in a variety of settings outside hospital, such as in your own home or in a care home.

We will be holding a first discussion session on Tuesday 15 September from 12.30pm to 3pm in Wallsend and online,  where we hope to get a better understanding of people’s experiences and identify if further investigation is needed.
