New fund launched for voluntary organisations who work with children and young people

June 25, 2026

Are you a voluntary sector organisation in North Tyneside which works with children and young people?

Healthwatch North Tyneside has launched a new fund for local VCSE organisations offering grants of up to £2,500 – the Young Voices Fund 2026.

We want to hear what children and young people in the borough think about health and care — what matters to them, where they get their information from, what is working well and what could be improved.

Healthwatch is committed to hearing the views and experiences of all parts of our community. However, we recognise that we are not specialists in working with children and young people.

The Young Voices Fund 2026 will support local voluntary sector organisations to engage with the children and young people they work with, to help us find out their views on health and care.

You can find full details about the fund and what we are aiming to achieve here. The deadline for applications is Wednesday July 29.
