Booking for this year’s flu vaccine is now open.
The vaccine helps protect against flu, which can be a serious or life-threatening illness particularly for vulnerable people and those with long-term health conditions. It is offered on the NHS every year in autumn or winter to people at higher risk of getting seriously ill.
For the 2026/2027 season, those eligible for the vaccine include pregnant women, children aged 2 or 3, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11), everyone aged 65 and over, adults in clinical risk groups, and frontline health and social care workers.
If eligible, you can book an appointment now and choose a date and time from 1 October. If you’re pregnant you can choose a date and time from 1 September.
