With up to 40,000 visitors from across the region, Newcastle Mela has been taking place for over 25 years and is one of the most vibrant and popular multi-cultural events in the North East.

The event is based around Pakistani, Bengali, Indian and other South Asian cultures and this is your chance to experience the music, food and entertainment associated with these cultures.

The Healthwatch North Tyneside Community Engagement team will be attending this event all day on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August, alongside colleagues from Healthwatch Newcastle & Healthwatch Gateshead

We are the independent voice for local people using health and social care services in North Tyneside. We want to hear your views and experiences of local services so we can make your voice heard in improving them. We can also offer health and social care information and signposting.
