Our Healthwatch volunteers and staff will be at the Urgent Treatment Centre at North Tyneside General Hospital from 4 to 9 February. Look out for them in the waiting area during the day-time and early evening.

We will be listening to the views of visitors using a short survey asking:

• Whether they were advised to attend the Urgent Treatment Centre and if so who by
• Whether they are there because of a recent change in a long term condition
• General feedback about getting access to health care when they are ill.

When we have analysed the surveys we will share and discuss the findings with Northumbria Healthcare Trust, local Clinical Commissioning Groups and other decision makers. We will also share our findings with Healthwatch Northumberland. A final report with any recommendations and observations will be published and available on our website.
