Covid-19 vaccinations
September 4, 2026
If you are eligible for a Covid-19 vaccine, you can now book an appointment for this autumn. Vaccination appointments will start from 1 October 2026.
The vaccine is offered by the NHS in spring and autumn/winter to people who need extra protection from COVID-19.
You can get a COVID-19 vaccine if you:
- are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 31 January 2027)
- are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
- live in a care home for older adults
From 1 October you may also be able to get vaccinated by attending a walk-in vaccination site, your local pharmacy or GP surgery or your care home (if you are an older person living in a care home).
