Carers Week 2024

Carers Week is an annual campaign to celebrate and recognise the UK’s 5.7 million unpaid carers.

This Carers Week’s theme is, “Putting Carers on the Map.” The help provided by unpaid carers is equal to 162 billion pounds, the cost of a second NHS. Locally, North Tyneside Carers’ Centre supports over 7000 adult and young carers who have caring responsibilities for a family member or friend.
