The Healthwatch North Tyneside community engagement team will be at the Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre on Tuesday 9 May from 1-3pm. Come and chat to us!

We are the independent voice for local people using local health and social care services in North Tyneside. We want to hear your views and experiences of local services so we can make your voice heard in improving them.  We can also offer health and social care information and signposting.

This drop-in is part of a Health Awareness Event for Minority Ethnic Communities and will include:

• Health & blood pressure checks
• Find out more about social prescribing support
• Information and advice on cancer screening
• Voluntary sector projects offering local support and services
• Check out the new gym facilities at the Islamic Cultural Centre 

Refreshments will be provided. If English is your second language, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member to the event to support you.
