Healthwatch North Tyneside launch new menopause survey on International Women’s Day

Healthwatch is asking women in North Tyneside to #ChoosetoChallenge by giving their views on the information and advice about menopause available in the borough.

Menopause is not a subject discussed openly and so it is often difficult to find people to talk to. Healthwatch were compelled to find out more about local women’s views after hearing from women who said they would like more information available to enable them to make informed choices about treatment, both medical and non-medical. Women also said they would like access to support from people with experience of menopause.
