Did you know that you can get your prescriptions delivered?

This guide gives an overview of prescription delivery services in North Tyneside. Mainly, the service is a driver picking up your prescription from a local pharmacy and delivering it to your door.

In addition to local pharmacy services, there are several online pharmacies that will deliver your medication through the post.

Please note that the NHS in North Tyneside does not fund pharmacies to provide delivery services, so many do charge.

This helpful guide has been produced in response to feedback we received during the pandemic, when people told us they would like to know how to get prescriptions delivered. This continues to be relevant to people who find it difficult to get to a pharmacy.
