Public meeting about the new hospital, February 2016
Since the Northumbria Hospital opened in June 2015 we have listened to your comments, questions and experiences of services and the impact the new hospital has had on North Tyneside General Hospital.
On 2 February 2016 we held a public meeting attended by David Evans, Chief Executive of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Paul Liversidge North East Ambulance Service, John Matthews and Jim Hayburn, North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group.
Our Healthwatch Board sent some questions to David Evans in advance of the meeting. They looked at the questions you asked us to raise and at your feedback and concerns when preparing the questions.
You can download the notes of the meeting and a pdf of the questions and the response from Northumbria NHS Trust below.
Taking your feedback to the Health and Wellbeing Board
North Tyneside Adult Social Care, Health and Wellbeing Sub-committee looked at our notes of questions raised at the meeting, and the responses from the NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Group, at their meeting on in March 2016.
