SUMMARY:Community Engagement - Newcastle Mela
DESCRIPTION:With up to 40\,000 visitors from across the region\, Newcastle Mela has been taking place for over 25 years and is one of the most vibrant and popular multi-cultural events in the North East. \nThe event is based around Pakistani\, Bengali\, Indian and other South Asian cultures and this is your chance to experience the music\, food and entertainment associated with these cultures. \nThe Healthwatch North Tyneside Community Engagement team will be attending this event all day on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August\, alongside colleagues from Healthwatch Newcastle & Healthwatch Gateshead \nWe are the independent voice for local people using health and social care services in North Tyneside.
