SUMMARY:Community Engagement: Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre
DESCRIPTION:The Healthwatch North Tyneside community engagement team will be at the Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre on Tuesday 9 May from 1-3pm. Come and chat to us! \nWe are the independent voice for local people using local health and social care services in North Tyneside. We want to hear your views and experiences of local services so we can make your voice heard in improving them.  We can also offer health and social care information and signposting. \nFor more information on the venue\, visit: https://wbicc.org.uk/ \nThis drop-in is part of a Health Awareness Event for Minority Ethnic Communities and will include: \n\nHealth & blood pressure checks\nFind out more about social prescribing support\nInformation and advice on cancer screening\nVoluntary sector projects offering local support and services\nCheck out the new gym facilities at the Islamic Cultural Centre \n\n Refreshments will be provided.
